I have lived in Kashmir and know how it works. How these separatists have over the years hit at the very roots of Kashmiri Pandit culture is well documented. I studied in an Arya Samaj school in Srinagar(It may be surprising to many) where muslim students outnumbered Hindus and them came along these mass murderers nay Freedom Fighters and changed everything.

Overnight the Shops were painted in hues of white and green (so called islamic colors). Some expected India to give up as Russia did. Along came 'civil disobedience' of not paying electricity bills and other municipal utilities etc. They used to play recorded messages of innocent muslims being tortured in Indian jails from loud speakers in local mosques across moffusils and cities. Most muslims preferred to look the other way when 'hitlits' were pasted on our doors.That is how ethnic cleansing plays out.

They razed our houses and places of worship and systematically and introduced radical islamic practices. 

Don't go by western clothing you see them wear they have watched enough English movies to crow human rights and Kashmir being a beautiful prison and yeah they read enough newspapers to draw parallels with Palestine and Northern Ireland. 

Somewhere along this journey they are disillusioned with Pakistan.There were times when they shouted Punjabi slogans "Jivey Jivey Pakistan" because they watched Pakis do it when supporting their cricket team. I mean the louts don't even know they were speaking Punjabi..so much for cultural subjugation imposed by India. 

People with borrowed vision and always busy with their projected selves on TV and blogs that my friends is how i can sum up a Kashmiri Muslim for you. Never had any vision or an identity and never will have one. Sadly many 9 yr old kids will die for the ideologies of their political leaders and martyrs created overnight when none had to die.

Come on a 9 yr old protesting ??? Does he even understand it. That sadly is true for the working class ordinary men who work 2 -3 jobs to earn a living. They don't have a voice.
