Kashmir is not just yours, it belongs to every Indian. Equally, whole of India also belongs to you.
No it is not "hypocracy". We most certainly do.
However the apathy that you feel that Indians have towards Kashmiris, is something that Indians feel because of the injustice that Kashmiris in 90s gave to Kashmiri Pandits.
You very cleverly I must say, avoided the mention of Kashmiri Pandits.
We love you, and that is why we keep telling you that please stop the protests, give peace a chance. Allow educational, industrial activities to grow. Allow Kashmiri Pandits to return. We want you guys to shoulder your responsibilities and earn decent living. As for the kids that you are talking about, it is most irresponsible of the parents to let them go in a protest hurling stones at the security forces in a heated environment. No Indian should/would do that.
I request you to stop people from doing so. Burkha Dutt may represent a certain opinion (politically/ideologically inspired?) (She hails from a very powerful media group and hence is influential) it is certainly not shared by a billion people. Kashmir is not just yours, it belongs to every Indian. Equally, whole of India also belongs to you.
