News(1.09.2010): EDP on IT & Mobile Service Technology Trade concludes at JKEDI.
The Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on IT & Mobile Service Technology under prestigious Seed Capital Fund Scheme of Sher-e-Kashmir Employment and Welfare Programme for Youth concluded here by Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI). About 44 participants from different areas of Jammu region participated in the said EDP so as to get groomed and trained to enable them to start their ventures in the trade.
Seed Capital Fund Scheme is a prime component of SKEWPY which enable the educated unemployed youth of the State to get trained and also a non-refundable amount equal to 35% of the project cost.
This was the seventh EDP in Jammu province under the Seed Capital Fund Scheme since its inception under which about 194 participants have been trained till date. The Entrepreneurship Development Programme started on 17th of August, 2010 and included the potential entrepreneurs whose line of operation would be IT and related trades.
The course was Co-ordinated by Vishal Ray, Assistant Faculty JKEDI. Speaking on the valedictory function Vishal Ray focused on the need of Quality Training in Entrepreneurship Development and ensured best possible support from EDI in future for setting up their Ventures.
Professor Rajendra Mishra, Chief Faculty while motivating the morale of the participants, asked the participants to submit the required formalities at an earliest so that their cases can be forwarded for the financial support. Later on, he distributed the certificates to the successful candidates.
In addition, Dr. MM Khan, Mr Vishvajeet Singh, Mr Gourav Khajuria, Ms Priyanka Mahajan, Mr T K Trakroo, Dr Sanjay Koushal, Mr Dheeraj Handu and Mr Yogesh Joshi were also present on the occasion.
