Harisa warms up Kashmiris during harsh winters

Kashmir, Dec 28(ANI): As temperatures dip to below freezing levels in India's Northern Srinagar, residents warm themselves up with a delectable serving of the Harisa, a traditional spicy meat porridge, long considered the best way to beat the cold. With unique concoctions of World-renowned Kashmiri saffron, aromatic spices, rice, meat and salts 'Harisa' which is considered high in calorific and protein content, digests easily besides warming up the body in the freezing climate.
