Kashmiri Hindus are the original inhabitants of Kashmir but centuries of forced mass conversions into Islam and merciless killing has made them minority. Kashmiri Hindus have been driven out of their homeland that they have lived in for more than 2000 years and their small numbers do not make them worth a cause to fight for at the political vote bank level.
