First Eco-adventure off-road bike safari flagged off!

New tourism era begins in Bhaderwah!

Bhaderwah, Oct - 05 - 2009, A ten day eco-adventure off-road motorbike safari – ROARIMA 2009 was flagged off from Bhaderwah by Shri Kalyan Singh, CEO, Bhaderwah Development Authority in the presence of, ASP Mr. T. R. Katoch, Director Extreme Adventures Pvt Limited, Dr. Thakur Naveen Kotwal, and Administrator Bhaderwah.com Dr. Gagan R Charak. And Vishal Ray, Assistant Faculty, Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Jammu. And other senior officers of Tehsil. Administration. The bike safari will cover over thousand kilometers over a span of 10 days. 

The expedition is jointly organized by Extreme Adventures Private Limited and Bhaderwah.com. Sponsored by Bhaderwah Development Authority, the bike safari includes over a dozen riders from different states of the country including Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. The team of riders will visit tourist places around Bhaderwah, Bani, Chamba, Tissa, Sach Pass, Killar (Pangi valley) and Kishtwar before returning to Bhaderwah. While flagging off, the CEO of Bhaderwah Development authority felt that such eco-adventure tours are an endeavor to promote adventure tourism in the area. He wished to promote such more activities in coming future so that Bhaderwah figures out in tourism map of India.

Director Extreme Adventure Pvt. limited, Dr. Thakur Naveen Kotwal who will lead the safari asserted his views that Adventure Tourism is the Key area where in the possibilities and scope of tourism has vast limit and safaris a like ROARIMA will good boost to adventure Tourism the districts of Doda, Kishtwar and Kathua.
