HUJI terrorists apprehended at Dachhan Kishtwar

Kishtwar Police and Army achieved a major success when they apprehended a hardcore HUJI terrorists in the forest area of Tander Nala Dachhan about 15 Km North east of Kishtwar today.

The terrorist has been identified as Yasin alias Junaid s/o Gh. Qadir r/o Tander. 

Reports revealed that a massive search operation of J&K Police and Army is underway in the Dachhan area since five days to track down the group of HUJI terrorist believed to be hiding in the rugged and forest area, The column first established contact with the group in the evening of 1st Sept,2010 in the ensuing fire fight, it is believed that two terrorists suffered grievous injuries but managed to escape leaving behind their weapons and belongings. 

During the conduct of the search operation the Security forces noticed movement of a suspicion person wearing combats this afternoon. One being challenged the terrorist tried to escape using the lay of ground but was overpowered and apprehended. 

However one Grenade and Radio set has been recovered from him. One weapon 7.62 mm SLR was already recovered during the fire fight on first encounter. 

It is reliably learnt that the same group of HUJI terrorist was also responsible for brutal killing of SPO Masood Ahmed at Krusa Tander on 30th August 2010. Even then the search for these terrorists was on and apprehension of Yasin @ Junaid will definitely provide the missing links in the incident.
