Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy CM Punjab calls on Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today assured the Shiromani Akali Dal President and Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal that the J&K Government would take all necessary steps to instill the sense of security in the minds of members of the Sikh community residing in the state.
"We have apprised the chief minister Omar Abdullah about our concerns with regard to the Sikh community living in Kashmir, especially the issue concerning the security," Badal told reporters after meeting Abdullah at the latter's residence here.
