Congress assails BJP for being hawkish on Kashmir

NEW DELHI: After backing embattled J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah, Congress on Friday assailed the opposition BJP for being `hawkish' on sensitive issues concerning the troubled state and warned against politicisation of the situation in the Valley.
Reacting sharply to BJP leader M M Joshi's criticism of Abdullah, the party said that while speaking on Kashmir affairs everyone should keep national interest in mind.
"Everybody should be careful while making remarks about Jammu and Kashmir," Congress spokesman Manish Tiwari told reporters.
Tiwari said that the CM deserved support given the difficult situation the state was going through.
Dismissing comments from different quarters about the status of J&K, he said that the state had been an integral part of India since October 26, 1947 when Maharaja Hari Singh had signed the instrument of accession merging the princely state into the country.

Everywhere all over the world, be it Russia, China, Phillipines or Thailand, the moment muslims are a majority in a province, they want freedom and then they eliminate the minority and form an islamic republic continuing the Jehad of Aurangazeb. India has given more rights and funds to Kashmir than to any other province in india. Under development is present in every state and rigging and corruption are present everywhere, but they are not asking for Azaadi! Islamic fanatism is as old as islam. The Mughals and other fanatics of history, Muslim league before independence, the Razakars post indepenece, and the LET, HIJM, Al-Quaida etc. of today are all offshoots of the same philosophy which believes only islam to be the true religion and that those who kill non-believers will earn merit and get 8 virgins each in heaven after death. The day would not be far off when all of these friends would unite to install a taliban govt in delhi. God save India from Muslim personal law and bangladeshi infiltration.
